2nd edition of the My Map Competition

The 2nd Edition of the “My Map” Competition will run from the 1st December 2008 to 30th March 2009.
If you’re a 7th to 9th grade student or attending secondary school and you’re interested in Geography, this is the competition for you. Build a map with your Geography teacher, by yourself or with a colleague. You are complete free to choose the themes, scales, different geographic areas, and materials, it’s entirely up to you and what you’re most interested in.
Write a small text to accompany the map you build, which serves to describe, analyse and interpret it. Your project will be exhibited on this page, so you have to scan it and, together with the text you wrote, send it to the following email address: omeumapa@gmail.com. Don’t forget to fill in the application form and send it as well.
You can win a GPS or an iPOD Shuffle. Read the competition’s regulations. We look forward to receiving your works of creativity and imagination!
